Character creation rules:
Do not spam.
There should be no spamming of any kind in this roleplay, be it in the shoutbox, in our Skype group chat, or in rp. It is annoying and immature, and will not be tolerated to any extent.
Listen to the staff.
It's really self explanatory. If a staff member or a member with higher standing than you asks or tells you to do something, do it. We will not ask you for trivial things, usually it will be something important, so even if you don't like it, it should be done.
When a touchy topic comes up in conversation, fade to black.
We have no doubt that some members have no problem with certain topics, however we do not want to cause drama. If any controversial or touchy subjects come up (i.e. gender equality, politics, etc.), take it to PM.
Manage your characters.
PUF isn't strict at all about character limits; you can have seven (7), but make sure you are able to manage all of them well. Failure to do so will result in a deduction of your character amount.
Remain active.
So the roleplay doesn't fade, we would like to have you online at least twice a week. We understand if you have to leave for a trip or a difficult time in your life, but tell us beforehand.
You must have separate OOC and IC accounts.
While it may be a new concept for some, PUF is a roleplay in which you are expected to have separate IC and OOC accounts to better organize things. You can roleplay with your IC account, and discuss OOC topics on, surprise surprise, your OOC account.
Make a character application before doing anything else in the roleplay.
Please make sure you've created a character and it's been accepted before you begin roleplaying. You may do OOC activities around the site while waiting, but beginning to roleplay without having your application approved is not allowed.
Keep IC and OOC separate.
Sure, one of your characters may dislike another person's character, but do not hate on the member just because of that. Similarly, if you know something going on in the roleplay, your character does not automatically gain that information unless someone has told them.
Do not beg, whine, etc.
If you desire some rank or a mate or pups or whatever you may want, do not go around begging for one. You may either post a thread in the auditions / adoption boards or calmly ask if anyone would like to fill the role of whatever you are wanting. If you desire a higher rank, it will be given to you if we deem you ready.
Don't hesitate to ask for help.
If you need assistance, please don't hesitate to ask! Ask a member in the shoutbox, or message one of the staff, and we'll do our very best to answer whatever questions you have in store.
- Only ONE mafia character per person. (You must choose a side!)
- Only ONE character with banned magic is allowed at any one time.
- Members must have only ONE aristocrat, and must have created at least one civilian before making an aristocrat.
- For every two fae, you must have one human character.
- You must be active on ALL of your characters, so only make as many as you can handle.

❯ ic rules
No pity-me's or superhero characters.
All characters should have set weaknesses and strengths, not one or the other. If your character is excessively weak or strong it will be asked to be changed. It is permitted for a character to have a disability, but please try to balance this somehow.
Respect higher ranking characters.
If your character is a child and trying to talk down a Nobleman, obviously that character will be somehow punished. Do not actively attempt to challenge higher ranking characters, or try to upset them just for the sake of having your character get beaten up.
Sex is not a public affair.
You are permitted to have intercourse in rp, but really, do you think anyone actually wants to see that but you guys? If you are doing anything of the sort, please go to PMs so you can enjoy yourselves and other members do not have to see it.
No one-liners.
PUF is lenient when it comes to word count, however at least try to go over one line per post. We understand if you are tired or can't find your muse a certain day, but it can't be a regular thing. It takes a lot of the fun out of rping.
Try to determine the stronger character in fights.
Obviously both characters want to win, so this is a bit difficult to do. But think realistically and try to discern which character is the stronger out of the two, and the most likely to win. Obviously an inexperienced child is not going to win against a trained Militant.
No auto-hitting, god-modding, etc.
This should be obvious in a roleplay like this. Do not try to pull tricks like 'she rips his throat out, no miss'. We're not that kind of rp. Similarly, do not try to raise your status on your own by god-modding if you do not have the authority to do so. If you have any issues with things going on, notify a staff member. Don't try to reprimand other members on your own.
