❯ character description
Relin's massive stature stands at seven feet and four inches [224 centimeters] tall and his broad frame carries approximately four hundred pounds [182 kilograms] of weight. His canine-like features appear the most in his head, hands, legs, and tail while his humanoid appearance puts him on two feet and gives him broad shoulders.
The lycan's muscular physique is coated in medium length fur, mixed colors of black and dark brown with few grey streaks betraying his age. The contrast of dark to the almost glowing amber of his eyes seems menacing, and the streaks and flecks of crimson can seem unnatural. His nails on his feet are dull from walking on them over his lifetime, but the claws on his hands are sharper than ever through constant care and sharpening.
[For more physical appearance, see Class.]
Relin's apparel rarely changes, usually adorning a clean leather vest, commonly matching his pants in color, over a high quality cloth shirt with long sleeves, tailored to his measurements. His pants are often a soft, flexible leather, coming in differing shades of brown or black. No matter what he wears, he always covers it with a worn looking long, dark brown trench coat. Rarely will he button it closed, allowing those around him to view the expensive looking clothes beneath.
Within the privacy of his own home, Relin rarely wears clothing. He believes his fur is enough to cover himself outside of the public's viewing. However, he will occasionally wear a casual cloth lace up shirt and loose cloth pants if he feels uncomfortable or cold.

❯ personality
[+] Determined, Loyal, Courageous, Level-Headed, Protective, Ambitious
[-] Impulsive, Vengeful, Controlling, Possessive, Untrustworthy
Relin's very dominant personality branches from his unbridled ambition. If anything gets in his way, he isn't one to back down or allow it to disturb him. The same can be said for when something he enjoys or needs is within reach, keeping a strong hold on it and possibly risking himself to protect it.
The Lycan flew through his military training and rose through the ranks because of his impulsiveness and trust in his instincts. Seeing as it hasn't proved to be unhelpful yet, he continues to trust his gut and face danger with a smirk. Though, not all of his impulsiveness is self-centered.
Depending on his relationship with the person, Relin is easily one of the first to retaliate against any threats to them. He's loyal to a fault, putting himself in danger for somebody he deems worthy, however he often feigns friendship to achieve his own goals. But when his trust is earned and solidified, there's nothing the canine wouldn't do.

❯ class information
Lycanthropes are a canine-like race often mistaken for werewolves. They are a humanoid species with several characteristics of canines, including wolves, coyotes, and foxes. Their canine features appear the most in their heads, hands, legs, and tails.
Lycans' heads heavily resemble that of a canine's; large ears sit atop their heads, tufts of fur round their faces around the cheeks, a long snout filled with sharp teeth and end in a canine nose, and eyes commonly dark in color. Their physique is coated in fur of differing lengths and earthy colors.
The faes' hands and feet appear severely callused due to the pads on their appendages, which cover their palms and fingertips on their hands and canine-like feet. They walk on the balls of their feet like a canine, meaning they have two joints in their legs where their knees and ankles are. The ends of their fingers and toes are tipped with sharp nails, their hands' are the sharpest and often used in hand-to-hand combat along with their canine-like teeth.
This description coveres only one of many forms of lycanthropes, however. There are many variations in appearance.
Lycanthropes are rarely capable of utilizing magic, favoring their strength or wits, though it is not uncommon. Few of these canines have spent decades studying and performing the art of magic, and even fewer master it.
Despite their magical defectiveness, Lycans are a force to fear. Their size alone is enough to deter opponents, adding their strength and intelligence seems like overkill. However, a lone lycanthrope isn't quite as impressive as one would imagine.
Lycans move and live in groups, a leader giving orders and the rest of the pack obeying. The members in a pack are very dependent on each other and grow to become very close, so the death or harm of a pack-mate is devastating. Emotional ruin is the end of a canine, not eating or sleeping for days, lost in its own thoughts with its guard down.

❯ history
Relin's story is nothing of interest. He was born to two lovely lycanthropes who raised him dutifully. He was always an ambitious tyke, and wanted to do the best that he could, even if it meant being unpleasant towards the other kids. However, the small bully had big dreams and wanted to serve under the King.
When he became of age, Relin had abandoned his dream of becoming a Nobleman. Instead, he took up the sword and joined the military. Ambitious and cruel as ever, he flew through the ranks at an impressive rate. Soon enough, he became the General of Pyre's kingdom. Though, after many years, that came to an end.
Word of his parents' deaths deeply upset him, and Relin's absence was felt in the military. After several weeks of depression, he resigned from his position and moved to the grand city of Pyre. As a former General, he was fairly wealthy and had a seat within the Council due to his experience.
It took the lycan several months to accept the position, and even still refused to "bond" with the people within. It'd already been years since he joined them, and he continued to stay distanced. The small group was simply a job, and little would come from the rest of his lonely existence.
That can't be true, though. Could it?
