❯ character description
Rolahn's massive physique stands at an astonishing five feet and seven inches [134 centimeters] tall and nine feet [275 centimeters] from his head to the base of his tail. Four powerful legs hold his large body, ending in broad paws with long, retractable claws. Ending his tail is a thick tuft of fur, long and whip-like. His thick mane fades along his spine, stopping midway down his back and reaches under his front legs and chest. Small scars litter his shoulders, flanks, and face from minor injuries in battle.
Ro's fur is an ivory color. Shades of light gold spread along his back and tint his mane, and lighter white brighten his belly, throat, and chin. His eyes range anywhere from a soft, grey-blue to a piercing icy blue, and his nose and pawpads are black in color.

❯ personality
[+] Loyal, Focused, Trustworthy
[-] Greedy, Malicious, Selfish
Rolahn's interesting history did little to shape him as his morals quickly melted in place of his greed. Corruption caused by money and power, both physical and in his title. He isn't known much for his deceit, and his word can be trusted, though rarely will be be caught in the position where it is necessary to speak to others below himself.
Ro is more of a champion for Soren, and is sent to deliver messages or to assassinate the unwanted. He is skilled in his ability to tune out morals and focus solely on his task. He does nothing if it does not please his Lady or interest him.

❯ class information
Lions are generally unseen on the Continent, however they can be found in rare instances in the grasslands. The founding of Sarilevo drove out most of the big cats in the area, and any remaining live within the ghettos themselves.
The big cats are vicious and strong, and they're fiercely loyal to their pride, usually hunting and fighting in a group. Males have added protection by their manes, but a lion's biggest weak spot is its belly and throat, so they protect themselves by staying low to the ground.
Rolahn is a special case, seeing as he isn't originally a lion. Magic was the cause of his current state, and therefore changed him slightly. He is fairly larger than an average African Lion, but he still carries the same strengths and weaknesses.
Ro is subject to magic and changes form as Soren desires. Her magic changes his shape to many things, be it a mouse or a dragon. These shifts are rarely made though, and his main shape is a lion.

❯ history
Rolahn was born in the Slums, though not as he is today. He was born to Haril and Frou Chastian. Haril was a sweet halfling and Frou was an experienced Enforcer who fell in love by chance, but when Haril discovered she was pregnant he found a softer side he thought he'd lost. Unfortunately, trouble arose when the pregnancy was cut short by a routine inspection of the slums that forced the halfling into labor. A premature elf-halfing was born.
The young fae was a source of tension in the Enforcers due to his father's high standing, and the Council members all but demoted him as a Cheif. The weakling produced by him was a discouraging sight for any hope for a natural future Enforcer. Rolahn wasn't one to sit down and take it, though. At a young age, he began teaching himself to fight and became a fairly decent swordsman, despite his difficulty picking up any real weapon.
Unable to join the Enforcers when he became a teenager because of his weakness, Ro trained twice as hard, but there was an accident. Frou was frantic over his son's crumpled body and crushed bones. Even the best doctors couldn't help the tiny hybrid, so his father went to Soren. The Apothecary was his last hope, and he pleaded for her to heal his son with her magic. She must have found some use in the boy because she obliged, turning the small, broken fae before her into an animal to heal quickly.
After fully healed and returned to his original form, Rolahn went back to his mother and newborn sister, Yial. As the years went by, news of his father's death while settling a fight spread through the kingdom like wildfire. A fire that drew very near to destroying his family. Without Frou's support, the three halflings would starve, but Ro decided he would do what his father did long ago.
Rolahn went to Lady Soren, the young woman now a notorious Apothecary. He begged her to help his family. He would do anything. Thus, he was appointed the woman's "errand boy." She gave him a stronger body, one able to do what she wished while also being containable. Rolahn's minute statute became that of a large, majestic lion with a flowing white mane and a body he could only dream of. However, the dream came with a price.
For the next several years, Rolahn was used as a hit-man of sorts, sent out by Soren to retrieve the heads of whomever she needed. When he returned, he was rewarded. Becoming a fan of colorful, shiny objects since his colorless form was bestowed upon him, he was paid in gems and crystals worth a fortune. He would share them with his family and watch from afar as his sister grew.
It wasn't long until Rolahn began to think more about his family. He knew that he'd have to return to them eventually, return to his old body after he earned enough money to live out the rest of his days in comfort. It disgusted him. The thought of being anything else but the powerful creature he became due to Soren. It was in that moment that he decided. He would stay with his Lady forever.
Rolahn cut all ties to his former family and devoted himself fully to Soren. He got his own chambers and filled it wall to wall with gold coins, silver jewelry, and gems of every shape, size, and color. He slept in the shimmering colors of corruption, and does to this day.
