❯ application guidelines
Here's the application template. Hopefully it's not too confusing or overwhelming to any of you! It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it, and by the time you've made your first character you'll probably be able to deal them out with ease. Overall there's two templates, one for human characters and the other for characters who require more detail with their classes. Whichever you use, the both of them should prove relatively simple!
Remember, if you've got a question about something, don't hesitate to ask one of the staff members. We'll be glad to help you!
- Applications must be posted with your main / OOC account, not your character account.
- To change the application image, just grab yourself the link of a picture with the dimensions 150x150px and replace "http://placehold.it/150" in the application template with the new link of the picture you desire.
- Your application's title must be labeled like so: "Faction, first last name". As an example, if your character's name is Eric Jones and he is part of the Reapers, the application title should be "Reapers, Eric Jones".
- Remember that inactive applications that have been left for more than 2 weeks will be Archived!
- If you'd like, you can use this site to pick a color and replace "#EFA05B" with the color of your choice.
- Tag the account of your character in the application, and make sure it has been sorted into the proper groups before you complete it.
- The Class section is where you put your characters class, simply pick one from the Character Classification thread. The species section (under the class section) is where you put your characters specific species. It must coincide with your class, i.e. a Fae being a werewolf, or a Human being a mage, and so on.
- Post in the Notification Thread once you've completed your application so we know it's done!
- Once accepted, your application will be locked. If you need to make any edits, post in the Edited Applications thread in order to have the application unlocked. Once you are finished with your edit, post in the Notification thread so we can look over the edits you've made!
