An extremely handsome man, Ash is known throughout the kingdom for his dashing good looks and rather infamous conquests. Apparently if one gazes into his kaleidoscope eyes, they immediately fall deeply in love. They dance with an ever-shifting array of colors, very often landing on a mesmerizing turquoise blue that swirls with a sparkling silver. High cheekbones and chiseled features lead many to believe that he was once royalty or has royal blood. Which is not in the least bit true. Dark brows that are finely arched rest easily over naturally hooded lids that give him a slightly feminine appearance. He is very tall, standing at 6.2", with a well-muscled frame and broad shoulders. But he is definitely not the brawny type. His musculature is of the leaner variety, lithe and healthy. The only things that distinguish him from humans are his icy white hair tinged with a pale blue, and that instead of being round, his pupils are slits. Ash wears an elegant black suit with a turquoise tie that brings out his eyes, it fits his body well, accentuating his form. His pants are just as elegant, and are obviously well-made. His skin is a soft bronze, a testament to the sunlight that he absorbed as a baby.

Ash is a self-proclaimed ladies man. He loves them all, no matter where they may come from or what class they are. He is extremely perverted, and loves dropping dirty hints and innuendos. It has earned him quite a few slaps across the face, not that it ever deters him from doing it again. However, he can be very serious when need be. With a good sense of humor, Ash is always one to try to lighten the mood when it gets too tense or if someone is feeling down. As a professor, he keeps it *somewhat* clean around the children. Lest he be eaten by Rolahn or killed by Jack, or his best friend Syf.

Very little is known about the Cheshire race. Some believe that they are a type of half-phantom, able to become mist-like forms at their own will. When born, a Cheshire is unable to become completely solid, so they are kept in glass boxes until the age of 2. In that stage of their lives, they sleep and do not need to eat, soaking up the rays of the moonlight, and in very rare cases sunlight that their parents place them under. When they awake, a Cheshire's soul is judged and they are given one animal form to turn into, and only one. Many choose to keep that form throughout their lives, finding it easier to move about.

Ash's background is unknown. He himself remembers very little from when he emerged from his protective box and ventured out into the world. He was found wandering the slums, covered in filth and picking pockets to survive. Though he fought his rescuers tooth and nail, they managed to get him to the education district and clean him up. Once there, the young Cheshire learned quickly how to act and socialize, and it quickly became apparent that he was extremely intelligent. Ash was at the top of his class in all years of school, constantly undermining the professors and correcting their work. However, he developed a very sexual nature, and though he is quite smart, sometimes it seems as if he's rather single-minded. When he graduated, the school begrudgingly gave him the position of Professor.
