The government is divided between the King at its head and the council below him. Though it is the council who ultimately does all the work, there is no question the King attempts to sway them at every opportunity. However, the council tends to sway itself, bias and corruption are no strangers to these individuals. Money talks, as they say.

King. An NPC [No Player Character] set outside of the walls of Pyre. He will never be heard from, and the Council is the governing faction of the city.

*Councilor. There will only ever be a maximum of five Council Members, each having their own history and way to contribute to the government. They are the highest rank in the city, and their word is law, with Enforcers eager to serve under them and carry out their word.

Aristocrat. These are the wealthy few who bribe their way into creating or dismissing new laws, and have a guiding hand in government decisions.

*Note: Councilors are not an open role; do not create an app for a Council member without talking it over with and getting permission from the staff beforehand!
