❯ enforcers
Enforcers are their own faction in society, and serve immediately under the Council. They take orders from the Cabinet, more directly than their own Chief, but when the Government hasn’t issued commands, the policing force listen to their higher-ups.
If you've got any questions about the Enforcers, please don't hesitate to ask! Just contact a staff member, or post in the Assistance board and we'll get back to you as soon as we can!
Chief. The big guy in charge. Positioned in the city center, the Chief is the person each Deputy reports to. He or she makes the final decisions in law enforcement, and is the one to go to if and when things within the city get too out of hand.
Deputy. In total, there are four Deputies within Pyre, one for every two districts. These four people report directly to the Chief, and act as the “sub-Chiefs” in a way, in their assigned Districts.
Detective. Detectives are a special role, and one with great importance. They act as investigators of crimes that are intense enough to require, well, investigating. Deputies and/or Chiefs will send them out when needed, but most of the time Detectives remain at home or in the office waiting for when they are needed.
Officers. Officers make up a wide majority of the Enforcers, being the basic position within. They can act as guards, perform patrols, and break up small fights. When Detectives are brought in, Officers will be there to brief them on the situation. Essentially, they’re the building blocks of the Enforcers, and a very important role in society.
Cadets. When a student graduates from the academy and, by chance, decides to become an Enforcer, they join as a Cadet. Cadets will tag along with Officers to learn about the force for a 3 month-long period before they rank up and become full-fledged members of the force.
