❯ character description
Cid is a charming young man that doesn’t realise he is a charming young man. Girls and Guys all over the city love him, or want to be him, or hate him from looks alone.
He is tall, muscular, and athletic, clocking at about 7ft tall, with strong shoulders, a thin waist and a butt that could kill. He’s blessed with gentle, soulful, light blue eyes, an aquiline nose, and a thin mouth that gives the most beautiful smiles. With a little bit of shadow, sideburns, and a devil-may-care messy haircut, Cid has an impressive profile.
Cid is rarely seen without his armor, which he calls the Queen Adamant: an amalgam of of tough metallic plates and dark-red furred leather coat, and a horned, devilish looking helmet. Along with his armor is his iconic giant greataxe, the Scorpion Tail, a heavy piece of dull, dark-green iron with dark-red and beige bandages wrapped around the handle, which he carries on his shoulder or in his back, and his heavily decorated beerstein, the Kriegsfest, that he wears around his belt.
When he’s not on the job, Cid usually wears his under-armor only: a comfortable linen shirt, with the sleeves rolled around the elbows, tough pants, and strong, all-terrain boots. All in all, he usually manages to style himself with a debonair attitude, which only adds to his charm.

❯ personality
Cid is a young man who desires nothing else but three things: ale, the female flesh, and justice!
He’s a dynamo of “feel-good” energy, whether through his boiling optimism, his oh-so-sexy charm, his friendly battlelust or his intense bravado. Everything he does, he does it for fun, for honor, or for someone else - and he does it well, and fully, and without regret.
The young man is certainly the type of person to defend his friends’ and family’s and even some stranger’s honour, in his brawling, blood knight ways - nothing beats a good brawl, whether the armour is on or off. Carefully applied violence is the reason he was accepted in the Enforcers, after all.
Along with a passion for fights is a passion for flesh, boozing and leisure: almost all of his free time is spent in bars or in the company of women, paid or otherwise. While certainly not a womanizer, Cid has a certain magnetic charm, and will never push a wonderful dame back.
All in all, he’s a powerfully built guarddog with the bite to back up the bark, and he’s been enjoying life ever since he came to life.

❯ class information
Cid is a very natural, 100% thoroughbred human, but he’s a giant of a man, and has the strength of at least five men. He can wrestle larger creatures than him, has jumped over water canals with running starts, and weilds his large greataxe, Scorpion Tail, one-handed.
Of course, while he may be mighty, he still isn’t perfect: where his physical prowess shines, his intellect blushes and hides itself. Cid may be wise in some ways, he’s also very book dumb, and his intellect is humble at best. His speed is also average, but impressive when you consider his height, weight, and the bulk of his equipment.
To counter this, the Enforcers HQ has seen fit to outfit Cid with a few magical items to keep him competitive: His axe, Scorpion Tail, has the power to secrete magic-based poison: its strikes can leave small explosions of green ichor that make people sick, or lose strength and energy. His armor, the Queen Adamant, absorbs magical energy (up to a point: strong, “nuke” spells will be eaten up to a point, and then the rest will act as intended) and recharges Scorpion Tail’s magic - and also empowers it, allowing him to cause stronger strikes and mightier poison when Queen Adamant is supercharged.
His helmet, the Daemonhelm, allows him to enter a berserk-like state when he flips the mask down: it strengthens him and gives him a burst of speed, but it’s physically and mentally taxing, so he doesn’t use it often. Finally, his beerstein, the Kriegsfest, senses violence around its possessor, whether given or recieved, and uses it to magically fill up with a deep brown-red cherry-beer that acts as a healing drought.

❯ history
Cid’s story is particularly boring, and it pales in comparison to who he is: he wasn’t born from a dragon’s egg, or in a group of roaming berserkers, no. Cid was born in the city of Pyre from well-meaning, but poor parents (innkeepers, specifically), and he was always stronger than other kids. However, instead of using his strength for personal gain and bullying, he always thought of it as a gift, that he could use to protect people who were weaker than him.
Growing up with that state of mind, it came to no surprise for anybody when he decided to join the Enforcers, using his mighty strength to police, protect, and help the city whenever it needed his power. It’s been about five years since he entered service, and he hasn’t regretted it once.
